MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama men's basketball has added Canadian forward Owen Kenney to its roster for the 2026-27 season. The 6-7 forward from Barrie, Ontario, is coming off a strong sophomore campaign with the Gee Gees, where he averaged 14.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, earning third-team All-Ontario University Athletics honors. Kenney is an outstanding outside shooter, knocking down 39.4 percent from three-point range while showing the ability to heat up in a hurry.
