Grinnell baseball team wins in walkoff fashion in series finale against Knox
GRINNELL, Iowa – After displaying they can win by large margins against Knox College, the Grinnell College baseball team proved it can be victorious in the nail-biters, too. That was the case Sunday at Pioneer Park, as the hosts got a walkoff two-run homer by Connor Goodson ’26 to clip the Prairie Fire 9-8 in Midwest Conference play. That capped a spectacular rally by the Pioneers, who trailed 8-6 through seven innings.
