GC women鈥檚 tennis team disposes of North Central by 5-2 count
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Grinnell College’s women’s tennis team capped its unbeaten weekend Sunday, coasting past North Central College 5-2. The 37th-ranked Pioneers won the doubles point by sweeping doubles with the duos of Isa Voinescu ’26- Paige Sargent ’27 (6-3), Logan Tom ’29- Marta Gonzalez ’29 (7-6) and Eliana Martin ’29- Tan Mukherjee ’26 (6-0). The 11-4 Pioneers finished things off by winnings at Nos. 3 through 6 singles with Gonzalez (6-0, 6-0), Voinescu (6-2, 7-5), Nichole Henning ’26 (6-0, 6-1) and Luiza Kohn ’29 (6-7, 6-3, 6-0). Grinnell will be in Madison, Wis., next weekend for the Midwest Invite.
