FGCU Climbs Six Spots, Sits Third at Liz Murphey Classic
ATHENS, Ga. – The Florida Gulf Coast University women’s golf team climbed six spots on the leaderboard during Sunday’s second round of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, moving into third place at 17-over par at the UGA Golf Course. The Eagles sit just behind tournament host Georgia and Rutgers with one round remaining. FGCU was paced by Amelie Alcantara and Leonie Wulfers , who sit inside the top 15 after matching 1-under 71 rounds on Sunday.
