Ewert Walkoff Lifts Softball To Series Split With Amherst
BRUNSWICK, Maine 鈥� The Bowdoin softball team picked up a series split with visiting Amherst on Sunday afternoon. The Polar Bears 16-3 (2-2 NESCAC) allowed the Mammoths (7-7, 2-2 NESCAC) to rally late in game one to take a 9-7 win. Bowdoin rebounded with a 10-2 five-inning win in game two. Game One Highlights Bowdoin scored a run in both the first and second innings off Maddie Paschke and Penelope Fong-Picariello. Amherst tied the game in the third.
