Eagles Sweep Coppin State for First MEAC Win
NORFOLK, Va. – North Carolina Central women's tennis earned its first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory with a 7-0 win over Coppin State on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles secured their second sweep of the season. NCCU (5-8, 1-1 MEAC) bounced back at the MEAC Round-Up by claiming the doubles point. Patricia Palencia and Sara Barbaric earned a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles, while the Eagles also secured the No. 3 doubles point by default due to Coppin State's limited roster.
