DePauw Drops Two in NCAC Openers
Springfield, Ohio – DePauw opened North Coast Athletic Conference play at Wittenberg and dropped both ends of the doubleheader by scores of 19-3 and 15-5. The visiting Tigers dropped to 12-7, while Wittenberg improved to 17-5. In the opener, Wittenberg scored three in the first and two in the second before DePauw reached the board in the third on Louis Florida’s bases-loaded walk. Connor Osborne’s solo homer in the fourth closed the gap to 5-2, but the hosts added seven in the fourth for a 12-2 lead.
