Boxers swept at Whitworth in another high-scoring affair
SPOKANE, Wash. – A new day brought a similar result as the Pacific baseball team fell 20-10 Sunday at Whitworth. With the win, the Pirates completed the three-game series sweep, scoring 58 total runs over the two days. The Boxers scored six runs in the top of the third inning to take a 6-5 lead. However, Whitworth answered with six runs in the bottom of the frame and six more in the fourth. The Pirates finished with 18 hits. Pacific had 13 hits.
