Barker homers, Giffin tallies three hits in 5-4 loss to Southwestern
SEWANEE, Tenn. 鈥� Maggie Barker homered, and Ansley Giffin recorded three hits, but Southwestern (Texas) used late runs to edge Sewanee, 5-4, in softball action the final game of the series on Sunday afternoon at Tiger Field. Giffin finished 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Tigers, while Abbie Buckner added two hits and an RBI. Sewanee outhit Southwestern in the final game 11-10, but left six on base.
