#3 Men鈥檚 Tennis Records Saturday Sweep of #11 Carnegie Mellon
SANDUSKY, Ohio — The 3rd-ranked University of Chicago men’s tennis team picked up a 7-0 sweep of #11 Carnegie Mellon on Saturday. The Maroons opened the match strong, taking the doubles point for a quick lead. Emil Grantcharov and Gopal Koduri earned the 6-4 win at #3 doubles, and the #1 doubles team of Alexander Ekstrand and Markus Ekstrand handed the #1 doubles team from Carnegie Mellon their first loss of the season with a 6-4 win to lock up the doubles point.
