22 Base Hits Not Enough in Losses at Stevens Point
The Forester softball team was swept in a doubleheader at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Sunday, falling 8-7 in eight innings in the opener and 8-4 in game two. Junior shortstop Kaia Mismash and senior designated player/catcher Kyla Chevalier each reached base safely seven times in nine trips to the plate on the day. Mismash was 4-for-5 with a triple and three RBI in the opener and 3-for-4 in game two. Chevalier was 2-for-4 int he two games combined but drew a pair of walks and was hit by pitched three times.
