Yavapai Softball Takes a Win in Yuma over Matadors
YUMA, Ariz. (March 28, 2026) The Yavapai Softball team just completed their 4-game ACCAC conference series at Arizona Western, and the Roughriders went 1-3 over the course of two days. In the game that Yavapai did win, YC beat the Matadors 9-4. Daisy Smith pitched the complete 7-inning game, tallying 4 earned runs and 5 strikeouts. Yeluanmy Alvarado , Daisy Smith , and Tamryn Tucker all had 2 RBI’s, while Kayley Gibb had 3 hits on the day, including a Double!
