Women鈥檚 tennis sweeps Southwestern, 7-0
SEWANEE, Tenn. 鈥� Sewanee’s women’s tennis team swept Southwestern on Saturday morning to improve to 2-0 in SAA play. The Tigers were dominant in doubles, dropping just four total games. Mariella Congeni and Ivy Wilson did not concede a game in a 6-0 victory over Katia Childs and Lilly Perkins at No. 1 doubles. Emma Foster and Lucy Lee followed with a 6-1 win at No. 2 to clinch the doubles point, while Harper High and Lexi Barbee completed the sweep with a 6-3 victory at No. 3, giving Sewanee a 1-0 lead heading into singles.
