Women鈥檚 Tennis Opens NEWMAC Play With a Win Against Wheaton, 6-1
Springfield, Mass. – March 28, 2026 – The Springfield College women’s tennis team defeated Wheaton (Mass.) in its New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) opener on Saturday afternoon, 6-1. Springfield improves to 4-3 overall and opens up NEWMAC play at 1-0 while Wheaton drops to 6-5, 1-1. The Pride swept all three doubles matches this afternoon.
