MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Wesleyan University held the Hamilton College Continentals to one goal over the last three quarters and the Cardinals pulled out an 8-3 NESCAC win at Wesleyan’s Smith Field on Saturday afternoon, March 28. Season Update The Continentals (4-5, 2-3 NESCAC) were coming off a tough 6-5 double-overtime loss against Colby College on March 21. The Cardinals (7-0, 4-0) scored a season-low eight goals against the Hamilton defense. How It Happened Wesleyan opened the scoring at 8:28 in the first quarter.
