Westminster men tied for sixth at Pennsylvania Classic
STATE COLLEGE, Pa.–The Westminster men’s golf team is tied for sixth place after the opening round of The Pennsylvania Classic. The two-round event, hosted by Penn State Altoona, is being played on Penn State’s Blue Course. Allegheny leads the 22-team event with a combined score of 308. Pitt-Bradford sits in second place (311). Westminster is tied with Juniata and Mount Aloysius after Saturday’s rounds of 315. Freshman Brody Pirt (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley) is in a five-way tie for 10th after firing an opening-round, four-over 76.
