Warriors Sweep Gyrenes for Back-to-Back Conference Sweeps
Babson Park, FL 鈥� The Webber International Baseball team swept its Saturday doubleheader against Ave Maria, taking Game 1 by a 5-2 score before rolling to an 18-8 win in Game 2 at Babson Park. The Warriors got timely hits in the opener and then broke the nightcap open with a huge middle-innings surge to finish off the sweep. The sweep today means the Warriors swept the Gyrenes 4-0 in the series and secured back-to-back SUN Conference sweeps. In the first game, Webber broke through in the bottom of the third.
