Virginia Wesleyan Battles Hard in Tough Road Loss at W&L
The Virginia Wesleyan University women’s lacrosse team (6-5, 1-2 ODAC) showed determination but fell 25-2 at No. 6 Washington and Lee on Saturday in Lexington. Despite facing one of the top teams in the conference, the Marlins battled hard in every quarter and fought for every scoring opportunity. Daphne Myers and Creelyn Bastinelli each scored for Virginia Wesleyan, giving the team bright spots in an otherwise challenging outing.
