UTA Earns Two First-Place Finishes, Three Second Place Finishes at Clyde Hart
WACO, Texas 鈥� The UT Arlington track & field team wrapped up competition at the Clyde Hart Classic, hosted by Baylor, with two first-place finishes and three runner-up performances. Freshman Arieanna Mcpeak claimed gold in the women’s triple jump with a mark of 12.35m, while senior Hayden Wilson secured first place in the men’s shot put with a throw 16.70m. Three Mavericks earned second-place finishes on the day: Christian Coker in the men’s javelin (48.55m), Justina Lusby in the women’s 3000m steeplechase (11:35.34) and Daniel Armstrong in the men’s 800m (1:50.96).
