Triton boys basketball falls to Barr-Reeve in Class 1A state championship
INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - A remarkable postseason run for the Triton boys basketball team ended in a 50-37 loss to Barr-Reeve in the Class 1A state championship game on Saturday morning at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The fourth-ranked Trojans (25-4) set the tone early and jumped out to a 6-0 lead and led 11-6 after the first quarter, but the second-ranked Vikings (28-1) scratched and clawed their way back into the game and tied it 20-20 at halftime.
