Track and Field Wraps Outdoor Opening Weekend at Monmouth Meet
The New York University men’s and women’s track and field teams closed out the opening weekend of the outdoor season at the 30th Annual Monmouth Season Opener in West Long Branch, NJ. The Violets totaled 12 top-15 finishes across all events as the team kicked off the final stretch of the season. Olivia Jackson was the lone winner on the day for NYU, leading the field in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase final, clocking at 11:09.14.
