Track and Field: Jacksonville, Rusk teams faced tough competition at Wildcat Relays
WHITEHOUSE 鈥� Track and field teams from Jacksonville and Rusk competed against some of the strongest teams in the area Thursday at the Whitehouse Wildcat Relays. The Indians and Eagles each had one first place finisher in the varsity boys division. Canaan Dennis won the gold medal in the 200 Meter Dash by stopping the timer on 22.04. In the 400 Meter Dash, Elijah McCown of Rusk was the first to cross the finish line. McCown posted a winning time of 50.39.
