Track and Field Finishes Strong On Day 2 At CMU
Pittsburgh, PA – On Saturday, Chatham Track and Field wrapped up a competitive week of play on day two of the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Sophomore Emenet Richardson was the top finisher for the Cougars, landing 6th overall in women’s javelin. Fellow sophomore Najiyah Smith competed in the women’s high jump event, finishing 12th. Smith’s strong day continued with a 15th-place finish in the women’s triple jump. On the men’s side of the triple jump, senior Brett Poles matched with a 15th-place showing.
