Towson Tennis Defeats Hampton
TOWSON, Md.- The Towson University women’s tennis team defeated Hampton 4-3 in a Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) match that concluded Saturday evening. Play was suspended Friday afternoon because of inclement weather with the Tigers leading 1-0 after taking two of the three doubles matches. Towson (7-8, 1-3 CAA) went up 2-0 when Hampton’s Tanya Midzi retired on court 1. Towson’s Kiersten Tambe took the opening set Friday and was up 1-0 in the second.
