Tommie split double-header against Mavericks
ST. PAUL, MINN.- The St. Thomas Tommies split the Saturday double-header with the Omaha Mavericks. The Mavericks took game one 12-2 in eight innings, and the Tommies came back in game two, winning 15-3 in seven innings. Game One: Omaha struck first plating two in the third and two in the fourth to take a 4-0 lead. Joe Roder homered in the fourth, the get the Tommies on the board and cut the deficit to three.
