SUNY New Paltz Men鈥檚 Volleyball Falls to Hobart in Five Sets
Geneva, NY 鈥� The State University of New York New Paltz saw its 12-game winning streak come to an end as it suffered its first conference loss of the season after falling to hosting Hobart in five sets Friday night (12-25, 25-22, 25-21, 16-25, 10-15). The Hawks (20-6, 5-1 UVC) had the ability to clinch the No. 1 seed in the United Volleyball Conference for the first time since 2023, but with the Statesmen earning the victory they hold control over hosting rights as they improved to 13-11 and 5-1, respectively.
