Strong Pitching Helps Lift Sharks Over FDU on the Road
HACKENSACK, N.J. 鈥� The Long Island University softball team continued its unbeaten start to NEC play on Saturday, defeating FDU 3-0 on the road. Both teams remained tied at zero through the first four innings of Saturday's game, though junior Lily Hinkle put the Sharks ahead with an RBI single up the middle in the top of the fifth inning, sending home junior Kaylee Clarkson.
