Stemple shines as Jackets split with Grove City on senior day
WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 28) 鈥� The Waynesburg University softball team hosted Grove City on Saturday for a senior day doubleheader. The Yellow Jackets rode a stellar pitching effort from one of the day’s honorees to a 3-1 win in game one, before settling for a split in game two. Senior Autumn Stemple (Morgantown, W.Va. / University) rose to the occasion of facing the number-two hitting team in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) by twirling a complete-game gem.
