Softball Drops First Two Games of MEAC Series to Delaware State
BALTIMORE – Coppin State’s softball team dropped a pair of games to Delaware State on Saturday afternoon at CSU Softball Complex. The Eagles (1-15, 0-8 MEAC) fell in game one, 5-3, before dropping the nightcap to the Hornets (10-15, 3-5 MEAC), 9-0 in five innings. Game 1: Delaware State def. Coppin State, 5-3 Brooklyn Tapusoa went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI while Camaren Corbett and Emily Quintero also drove in runs.
