Softball drops doubleheader to Southwestern
SEWANEE, Tenn. 鈥� Abby Winkler recorded two hits across the doubleheader, and Ansley Giffin added two hits of her own, but Southwestern used big innings to sweep Sewanee, 9-0 and 12-3, in softball action on Saturday afternoon at Tiger Field. In the first game, Southwestern erupted for six runs over the first two innings and Sophia Ytuarte tossed a one-hitter as Sewanee fell 9-0 in five innings in the opener.
