Softball Bested by Coast Guard in NEWMAC Opening Series
WATERFORD, Conn. 鈥� The Clark University softball team (9-6, 0-2 NEWMAC) opened the NEWMAC portion of their schedule today against Coast Guard (8-4, 2-0 NEWMAC) and battled in both games, but ultimately dropped both on Saturday afternoon from Nazarchyk Field. Game One: Coast Guard 8, Clark 5 Junior Megan Dube tossed a scoreless first inning before junior Alexis Taudel roped a two-RBI double to left field that played seniors Felicia Salvati and Erin Slavin to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead.
