Simpson drops game one against Westcliff
IRVINE, Calif. - The Simpson baseball team dropped the series opener tonight, 13-2, against Westcliff. The story of the game belonged to Cameron Witte and the Warrior offense as they registered 16 hits. Westcliff scored five runs over the first two innings as Patrick Morgan highlighted the rally with a two-run triple. The Warriors broke it open in the fifth inning as they hung a six-spot on six hits, which included a leadoff home run by Jack Varney and RBI knocks by Kailen Kimata and Morgan to give Westcliff the commanding 11-0 lead.
