Rowing Opens Season At Sarasota 2K
BRADENTON, Fla. -- The Massachusetts rowing team opened its 2026 season at the Sarasota 2K on Friday and Saturday at Nathan Benderson Park, highlighted by a pair of second-place Petite Final finishes. In Saturday's Petite Final, the UMass Varsity 4 placed second (8:14.48), trailing only Kansas while beating Boston College, Jacksonville, Tulsa and Kansas State. The Second Varsity 8 finished third in its Petite Final (07:25.74), placing behind Louisville and Boston College while beating Tulsa, Kansas and Michigan State.
