Rowing Competes at Cayuga Duels
ITHACA, N.Y. – GW rowing braved cold temperatures and strong headwinds on Saturday at the Cayuga Duels, jumping out in the morning with three wins in four races over Colgate before placing second in all four afternoon heats vs. Cornell. Saturday’s morning session featured triumphs for the Revolutionaries’ 2V8, V4 and 2V4 crews over the Raiders. The V8 came in second, just under five seconds off the pace. GW’s 2V8 and 2V4 improved on their heat times in the afternoon, but fell to Cornell and Boston University, respectively, in the two races. Another set of duels awaits George Washington next…
