Red Dragons pull away from Bears in second half
POTSDAM, N.Y.— SUNY Oneonta (6-2, 3-0 SUNYAC) used a big second half to secure a 21-12 win over the SUNY Potsdam women’s lacrosse team on Saturday afternoon. HOW IT HAPPENED The Red Dragons broke a 3-3 tie with four straight goals to build a 7-3 advantage after one quarter. Sophomore attack Ava Murphy (Lisbon, N.Y./Lisbon), sophomore attack Jayla Thompson (Hogansburg, N.Y./Massena) and junior attack Abby Kraus (Buffalo, N.Y./Frontier) each scored for the Bears.
