Rasmus Ditzinger Goes Five Under In Saturday鈥檚 Final Round To Take First At The Battle of Rum Pointe
BERLIN, Md.-After entering Saturday’s final round tied for first place at the Battle at Rum Pointe Tournament following an opening round, four under par, 68, Fairfield sophomore Rasmus Ditzinger pulled away from the rest of the 99-golfer field over the final 18 holes, as he fired a blistering, bogey-free final round 67 (-5) to win the tournament by eight strokes over Iona’s Sean Richards and Binghamton’s Jack Tebeau.Ditzinger finished with a two-day total of 135, nine under par; while Richards and Tebeau shot 143 (-1) for the 36-hole event.
