Pro Wire Athlete of the Week
Our Pro Wire Athletes of the Week for the week of March 28 are Vandalia baseball senior centerfielder Kohnor Depew and South Central softball pitcher Maddie Peddicord and freshman first baseman/catcher Emmie Ruholl. Depew had a very strong week for the Vandals during their 3-0 run with wins against Hillsboro, Greenville and Ramsey-Mulberry Grove. The senior centerfielder went 8 for 11 at the plate this week for a .727 batting average, scoring seven runs and driving in four runs.
