Prairie Fire Power Way Past Maranatha Baptist
The Knox College softball team remained unbeaten at home this season, sweeping Maranatha Baptist on Saturday by scores of 14-1 and 21-1. The Prairie Fire are 4-0 in Galesburg, 5-7 overall, and are next in action on Sunday, visiting Westminster College in a doubleheader. Building on their strong start, the Prairie Fire recorded 22 walks total in the two games, using a keen batting eye against wild Sabercat pitchers.
