Owls Drop Thriller to No. 46 San Diego
SAN DIEGO 鈥� The Rice women’s tennis team fell 4-3 in a thriller to No. 46 San Diego on Saturday. The No. 54 Rice Owls (11-6) are now 5-2 on the road this season. Both singles and doubles were decided on the final court. In doubles, Darya Schwartzman and Uma Bakaityte defeated Anni Moll and Hannah Read, 6-1. San Diego responded when Francesca Maguina and Ema Mravcova fell 6-2 to Vilma Krebs-Hyllested and Maria Shmakova.
