Mammoths Suffer Setback at No. 2 Bowdoin, 12-9
BRUNSWICK, Me. 鈥� The Amherst College men’s lacrosse team traded blows with unbeaten Bowdoin for most of the afternoon Saturday, even pulling even early in the third quarter, but the Polar Bears finished the job in a 12-9 NESCAC win at Whittier Field. Amherst (3-4, 2-2 NESCAC) got a ton of production up front. Brendan Reilly, Alex Vlacich, Bennett Chow, and Patrick Arnold all scored two goals, and Max Youssefnia added a goal and two assists, and the Mammoths were right there after 30 minutes, down just 5-4 at the half.
