Lacrosse Drops 18-7 Contest to Wofford
BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb (0-10, 0-1) women's lacrosse team battled throughout the afternoon but fell to Wofford (4-7, 2-0), 18-7, on Saturday at Spangler Stadium. The Runnin' Bulldogs showed balance offensively with seven goals from five different players, while also receiving a strong effort in goal from Emma Anderson, who recorded 11 saves. Wofford jumped out to an early advantage, scoring the first five goals of the contest before Gardner-Webb responded late in the opening quarter.
