Hipshire Secures Gold at Big Blue Opener
DECATUR, ILL.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women’s track and field team competed at the Big Blue Outdoor Meet. The squad put in some strong performances, highlighted by multiple podium finishes. NOTABLE PERFORMANCES Madison Hipshire (Riverview, Mich.) took the top spot in the 400mH with a new personal best of 1:10.20. Aniyah Isom (Chicago, Ill.) finished second in the long jump with a season best leap of 5.02m. She also took fifth in the 200m with a season best time of 27.95.
