Hampton Drops Two Matches Saturday
TOWSON, Md. (Mar. 28, 2026) 鈥� The Hampton University women’s tennis team fell to Stony Brook Saturday afternoon 5-2. The duo of Samira Khazieva and Chelsea Chakanyuka and Serena Bryan and Melis Sakiroglu each earned wins in the two and three spot for Hampton to earn the doubles point. Stony Brook responded strongly in singles, winning the first four spots, all in straight sets to clinch the match. Khazieva earned the Pirates lone singles win at the five spot 6-1, 6-4.
