Gorny Sets Points Record as URochester Tops Geneseo
PRINCE ATHLETIC COMPLEX 鈥� Senior Alyssa Gorny provided a great all-around performance in leading the University of Rochester lacrosse team to a 13-11 win on Saturday over SUNY Geneseo at Edwin Fauver Stadium. Gorny also had a record-breaking day, as she set the University of Rochester lacrosse career points record, finishing the day with 244 for her career. Gorny had nine points on Saturday, scoring five goals while adding four assists, to surge past UR Athletics Hall of Famer Anni McDonough ’98 who previously held the record of 238 career points.
