Gamecocks Battle Elements in Day Two of Raleigh Relays
RALEIGH, N.C. (March 27, 2026) – South Carolina Track & Field powered through the elements in the second day of the Raleigh Relays, beginning competition at 10 a.m. on Friday and ending things as the clock nearly struck midnight. The Gamecocks experienced smooth sailing until the women’s 5000 meter was put on an hour-and-a-half hiatus due to severe weather in the area. However, the delay did not slow down the Gamecock women’s distance runners.
