Four Event Wins Highlight Track & Field鈥檚 Weekend
NORMAL & DECATUR, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams wrapped up a three-meet weekend at the Big Blue Alumni Invite and Redbird Challenge Saturday, March 28. Four Titans claimed wins at their respective meets. Freshman Mallory Short (Lincoln, Ill.-Lincoln) recorded a career-best time in the women’s 400m at the largely Division I Redbird Challenge. Short crossed the finish line in 57.84. Junior Imani Ogunribido (Hanover Park, Ill.-Lake Park) continued her women’s triple jump dominance, winning the event at the Redbird Challenge.
