Distance Runners Wrap Up Competition at Raleigh Relays
RALEIGH, N.C. – A quartet of distance runners from the Yale women's track and field team competed on Friday at the Raleigh Relays. Senior Linde Fonville ran a 4:26.54 in the 1500m, 2.49 seconds off her PR. McKenna Keegan, a seven-time All-American at Villanova who was running unattached, placed first with a time of 4:08.29. First-year Phoebe Benun and sophomore Zoe Martonfi competed in the 3000m steeplechase. Martonfi's time of 10:38.76 was a personal best; she ranks 10th on Yale's all-time list.
