NEW PALTZ, N.Y. — Fredonia State dropped a SUNYAC matchup on the road Saturday, falling 12-4 to New Paltz. The Devils kept things competitive early, but a strong second-quarter surge from New Paltz was to much for Fredonia State to overcome. To start the game, the Hawks struck first just under a minute into play, but the Devils answered midway through the opening quarter when Cailin Karalus converted a free-position opportunity to even the score at 1-1.
