Comets Lose At Vandalia
The Greenville Comets varsity baseball team was defeated Thursday at Vandalia by the score of 4-2. Driving in the Greenville runs were Drake Graber and Dayton Oliver. Comets hitting safely were Trey Melton, Rowdy Sussenbach, Drake Curry, Dominic Sanchez, Graber and Oliver. The baseball Comets host Pinckneyville Saturday and play at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Sunday against St. Pious X of Crystal City, Missouri. That game will be broadcast on WGEL.
