Comets Can鈥檛 Keep Up With Trine in Non-Conference Contest
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University men’s lacrosse team dropped a 9-2 decision to Trine on Saturday afternoon at Bernlohr Stadium. Capital (3-6, 1-1) struck first in the opening quarter, as Jess Lipp found the back of the net at the 13:18 mark to give the Comets an early 1-0 lead. Trine quickly responded with three unanswered goals – two coming on extra-man opportunities – to take a 3-1 advantage after one.
